Miriam Ticktin Keynotes at Conferences on Humanitarianism and Care

Miriam Ticktin, co-director of the Zolberg Institute on Migration and Mobility, delivered the keynote address at conferences in the Fall 2014 on humanitarianism and care.

During the conference “Exceptional welfare: Dilemmas in/of irregular migration” in Bergen (Norway) November 19-21, co-director Ticktin gave a talk entitled “Care Beyond Welfare?”

“Humanitarianism and Beyond: the Pasts and Futures of Care” is the title of the keynote talk she delivered at the conference “New Spirits of Humanitarianism – Genealogies, Practices, Responses,” which took place at the University of Western Sydney (Australia), December 8-10 2014.
